Karl has used cold Winter days and evenings to work on a new book with the title:
Biography Tool-Book
Currently, we are working on this chapter: Practical Karma Exercises. The title refers to a Lecture Rudolf Steiner gave in September 1924. In the introduction, he shares how he wanted to bring lectures with this title at the beginning of his Lecturing career within the Theosophical Society in Berlin in September 1900. But "I became aware of intense opposition to this proposal. ... Those lectures were never given." (GA238.L1) About 24 years later, in May 1924, Rudolf Steiner introduces his two main Karma Exercises. The Three-Level Karma Exercise (GA236.L6) which explores Instrument Karma and the Four-Day Karma Exercise (GA236.L7) which explores Incident Karma. It needed 24 years, the burning of the first Goetheanum, and the re-forming of the Anthroposophical Society at the Christmas Foundation meeting, to have an audience prepared for a topic which he defined as his life mission. Karl has worked with these exercises with Ate Koopmans and Coenraad van Houten since the 1990s, developing a practical approach to these and other exercises.
We plan to have this book published as an e-Book by the end of October 2024.
