Until 12 September you can still register for the Early Bird Fee for the 5th and final part of the 5-Doorways to Health & Healing. This is Dr Michaela Glöckler's unique approach to Biography Work, which we invited her to bring to an English-speaking audience in the Indo-Pacific region. The idea was that she would introduce us step by step to her Five Principles. We started in 2023 and this October, the five-step journey closes with the Fifth Element, the Quinta Essentia.

Her Five-Star Archetype approaches the human being through five aspects, each opening a Doorway to Health and Healing. Four of them describe how we take hold of earthly existence — the Physical-organisation, the Etheric-organisation, the Astral-organisation and the ‘I’-organisation. We have worked through these four, one at a time, since 2023. This time our focus is on the fifth, and it is of a different nature: the Quinta Essentia is no longer constitution-forming. It builds no body at all.
This is what we explore at the Gathering, 16 to 18 October. Everything that has led to it — that is, Parts 1 to 4, some 355 pages with links to 14 recorded lectures — is now gathered together in a bundle. There is more on the Quinta Essentia itself on our website.

Guiding Groups is part of our Holistic Adult Learning stream, for consultants, educators and facilitators working with adults. It is open to everyone — there is no prerequisite. Our Adult Learning modules are inspired by Coenraad van Houten (1922–2013), who described the meeting of adult educator and adult learner as a ‘co-human relationship’ — one individuality relating to another, as equals.

The course opens with core skills, practices and principles of adult learning: the path from information to wisdom, and the growth of the learner from Reactor to Witness, to Learner and to Researcher. It then turns to its main subject — creating, supporting and holding an open space. You will explore three types of group, and the three elements at work in every conversation: Content (Thinking), Interaction (Feeling) and Process (Willing). You will be introduced to the seven Archetypal Qualities related to the seven Planets, which help you assess the personality types at work in a group, read its dynamics and find ways to facilitate the process. And you will learn and practise a structured process of collegial Inter-vision — a safe way for colleagues to learn from the incidents they find most difficult.

Most of our work is online, but here is the chance to meet in person. Every second year, our Indian colleagues host an International Onsite Biography Gathering. The new issue of The Voice of Biography carries the announcement. Its 2025 Winter Solstice edition reports on the last one, in Pondicherry.
